Welcome to the home of the Minnesota Navy League COUNCIL

The Minnesota Navy League Council is a Council of the Navy League of the United States.  The Minnesota Navy League Council is a nonprofit civilian organization that supports the U.S. Navy and the Coast Guard. Through national and local programs, the Navy League of the United States provides a powerful voice to educate the public and Congress on the importance of our Sea Services to our nation’s defense.

The Minnesota Navy League Council will host the 2024 Midwest Region Annual Navy League Conference April 19-20 at the Minneapolis Hilton, 1001 S. Marquette Ave. Minneapolis, MN 55403.  Friday April 19 will include visits to the USS Ward Gun Memorial, the Minnesota State Capitol, The Greatest Generation exhibit at the Minnesota Historical Center with the day ending at Target field with a game between the Minnesota Twins and the Detroit Tigers.  Saturday April 20 will cover several topics of interest to all councils, including guidance from Regional President Ward Cook and National President Chris Townsend.   This will be followed by information on Sea Cadets and Youth Programs, the importance of Strategic/Succession Planning, information on membership challenges and Adopted unit events and a discussion on NROTC.
