Together for health and happiness.

Now part of Aspirus Health.

Duluth’s First Hospital

During the typhoid outbreak of 1881, a small group from St. Paul’s Episcopal Church established Duluth’s first hospital. They called it St. Luke’s.

Nearly 150 years later, St. Luke’s serves communities in northeastern Minnesota, northwestern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan with primary and specialty care, a Level II Regional Trauma Center, a nationally recognized Regional Heart & Vascular Center, and a Regional Cancer Center accredited by the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer.

Our commitment to our patients continues to grow. Now part of Aspirus Health, St. Luke’s is advancing the quality and accessibility of care to even more communities.
