The UMD's Natural Resources Research Institute [NRRI] was created during the 1980s recession to address Northeastern Minnesota’s deteriorating economy. It’s objective then is as relevant today: To help grow the economy and support job creators with efficient and environmentally sound use of our region’s natural resources.
Join Fuse Duluth at this exciting Off the Clock free networking event at the NRRI. You will have the opportunity to visit three incredible laboratories in which these problem-solvers experiment with innovative ways of creating a deeper, broader, and more valuable economy:
Rapid Prototyping with 3D printers and other technologies
Wood Processing Lab: Making higher value, more marketable forest products
Mechanical Test Lab: Research and Development for Minnesota businesses
In addition, this free event will have hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, great networking and raffle prizes for products from Epicurean and Frost River. Leave your lab coat at home, the NRRI scientists and engineers will be available to answer your questions. See you there!
