Odyssey Resorts would like to host a “Team Building” event for the Duluth Chamber Ambassadors at the Larsmont Center for Strategy & Team Development utilizing the Challenge Couse on Thursday, June 9, 2016 in the afternoon (Arrive at 1:30 pm, allow the facilitators to provide direction, start the course at 2:00 pm, end at 4-4:30 pm, drinks and apps directly following at Larsmont Cottages).
The Challenge Course is an ACCT (Association for Challenge Course Technology) accredited low ropes course that is designed to present a specific challenge for groups to overcome. Each element has a set of rules, boundaries, and story lines that are required to overcome the problem presented. The challenges given are designed to develop a group’s skills to include leadership, trust, communication, and problem solving as well as identifying strengths and weaknesses to foster personal growth. The progression of events built by the facilitator is based on group goals and desired outcomes then gradually increases in difficulty to provide a continuation of new trials which fosters an environment for team morale and unity.
This event will be complimentary for Ambassadors and Odyssey will provide drinks and appetizers for the group afterwards.
