We are facing extraordinary challenges in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. In the best interest of stakeholders, community members, legislators, exhibitors, and staff, the Duluth Area Chamber has canceled the Duluth & St. Louis County at the Capitol events.
We made this difficult decision after several discussions with our advisors at the State Capitol, local healthcare authorities, Mayor Larson and St. Louis County Leaders, and event stakeholders.
Be assured, the Chamber remains committed to supporting our region at the Capitol during this legislative session. Our visibility to Minnesota delegates will press on.

Duluth & St. Louis County at the Capitol Days Grand Reception
The biggest citizen advocacy event - the 23rd Annual Duluth & St. Louis County at the Capitol Days is set for Wednesday, March 18 – Thursday, March 19, 2020. We need your help to be the voice of business to our elected officials.
Throughout the day on Wednesday, Duluthians and Northeastern Minnesotans will meet face-to-face with legislators throughout Minnesota. That same evening, over 500 participants will attend the Grand Reception, providing a unique opportunity for people to tell their organization’s story, dine on local favorites and sip on local brews. We will invite our legislators and their staff to join us as we discuss all the good things happening in the Northland. The following morning, we will gather for breakfast and hear from our local delegation for a session update. The Governor and Lt. Governor have been invited to present.
Much has been accomplished in recent years and bonding support for city and county projects has been significant. Let’s use our visit to St. Paul to provide an update on the status of the project’s legislators supported and to say thank you for their confidence in our initiatives.
