What is going on with the city budget?
You’ve heard the sound bites from the media. The city is selling off assets and eliminating positions in order to balance the budget. How did we get into a situation where we have to deal with budget deficits? This Thursday Fuse Duluth will host a special lunch discussion with Mayor Don Ness. He will answer questions like; “Why does the city own the Zoo and Comfort Systems?”
and “What impact will a shortage of state aid to local government have on the budget?”
