You are invited to join Lt. Governor Yvonne Prettner Solon for a discussion sponsored by the Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce regarding Minnesota’s Own Your Future campaign. The Lt. Governor and an expert from the Department of Human Services will provide useful information for your business and your employees, focused on how employers can help their employees plan for long-term care, retirement, and other important milestones for Minnesota’s aging population.
Own Your Future is a joint federal/state initiative designed to encourage and empower Minnesotans to prepare for their long-term care. It is a conversation that goes far beyond nursing home care and long-term care insurance. It focuses on family conversations, life planning, and financial planning.
The Lt. Governor will discuss:
