The Duluth Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) is a lot more than HUD housing and Section 8. From development to rehab to construction training, the HRA not only touches nearly every affordable housing development in Duluth in some way, but also offers a wide variety of programs for both low and moderate income homeowners. The HRA brings in over $12,000,000 per year to local landlords and houses over 1,000 households through its own rental portfolio. Fuse Spark Exchange is a monthly lead generation group designed for young professionals, businesses, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs looking to grow their networks in a welcoming, action-driven space. This first introductory meeting will be hosted at the What We Saw Collaborative and feature a presentation from the co-owners of the space about forming networking connections based on values and genuine connection, and how that can make your work more efficient and aligned.

Fuse Spark Exchange is open to current Chamber members and costs $5 at the door; the group will strive to meet once monthly at various hosting locations. Studies show that employee engagement within their organization and community produces greater retention rates, builds brand ambassadors, and establishes stronger relationships with customers. In alignment with our priority to increase employee retention and grow Duluth's business community, the Chamber & Fuse Duluth launched a creative team-building experience called The Great Duluth Race. This exciting offering provides a unique opportunity for team bonding with an afternoon of healthy movement, competition, and discovery of Duluth businesses and history.

**2025 will be the final year the Duluth Chamber will host The Great Duluth Race before we introduce a brand new teambuilding offering in fall 2026; don't miss your chance to participate in the Last Dash!**

How it works:
The event will kick off with team instructions followed by a shotgun start. Then, teams will venture around Lincoln Park, Canal Park, and Downtown Duluth to fulfill any of our creative missions. Each mission is worth points. A mission could be stepping inside a specific business, visiting a landmark, taking a photo, solving riddles - the sky is the limit. Teams rack up points by completing as many missions as possible during the allotted time.

The quest will conclude at The Garden Event Center where we will award the winners and enjoy a fun-filled networking happy hour featuring booths from local organizations.

The champions will proudly take possession of a traveling Aerial Lift Bridge trophy crafted by POP & DOT Design and Fabrication, a symbol of their victory and a stunning centerpiece to be displayed prominently in their office. This trophy serves as a testament to their accomplishment and a constant reminder of their triumph in The Great Duluth Race. Other grand prize details will be revealed soon.

Finally Fridays is the Chamber’s morning social series which provides guests the opportunity to start their day with professional accompaniment, breakfast beverages, and snacks. Join us for a special summer-themed Finally Fridays with the Duluth Huskies at Wade Stadium!

About the Host
The Duluth Huskies are an amateur baseball team playing in the Northwoods League, a collegiate summer baseball league. They have been operating in Duluth, Minnesota since 2003. The Huskies play home games at Wade Stadium in Duluth, which was built in 1941. The team plays 72 games throughout the summer, 36 home and 36 away. The team mascot is Harley D. Huskie. Huskies Games are streamed on Northwoods League TV.
